In the year 3241...

The intergalactic space war has left our fleet crippled by enemy spies. An attack on our central control database has removed critical navigation charts used by our star cruisers. You have been recruited to manually guide our ships to the enemy targets in as few hyperjumps as possible. We must be efficient in our planning if we are to have any hope in this fight!

Controls

Use the mouse to drag and rotate the planning grid. Your currently assigned starship is shown as a yellow arrow. Available starsystems appear as blue orbs. Hover over an orb to add it to the planning tree.

Your objective is to expand the planning tree to reach the red enemy target. You will be judged on how many unnecessary star systems you had to explore.

I like it. Its simple but that's a good strategy for a gamejam game. It feels like my decisions are made more by chance than strategy. I couldn't see playing this for hours on end but maybe it would work as a mobile game, or as a cutscene between levels in a game that takes place on different planets. Or you could expand it into a space trading strategy game. Theres lots of directions you could take it.
